About The Job
No outbound telephone calls. Yippee! Come and be our first inside sales managers at Kolide. Our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) sits squarely in the mid-market tier, so we need someone who can rock this space. Our buyers are technically savvy ( would hate to be called out of the blue) and come to us with a good understanding of how Kolide works and how it should be deployed. Often what they require most from us isn’t convincing them of Kolide’s chops, it’s assisting them to convince the rest of their organization we’re a purchase worth making.
As an Inside Sales Rep, you will have a significant impact on the growth of Kolide as an organization. As we are scaling at a fast pace it is imperative for us to find candidates who embrace a challenge with an eagerness to learn and a passion to be successful. We will help you develop the skills you need to grow with us.
We are looking for high-energy, driven professionals with sound business acumen and natural sales instincts to join our Sales Team. This position reports to the VP Sales.
- Qualify and develop inbound sales leads and respond to product inquiries
- Set appointments/demos for sales representatives to close
- Meet monthly and quarterly qualified leads and revenue objectives
- Articulate the Kolide business value proposition to decision makers to assess buying interest
- Complete accurate tracking of communication with current and potential customers in Hubspot
- Work closely with Revenue Operations and Marketing to create and test different nurture sequences using Hubspot
- Input into the product team to develop the trial flow experience, ensuing prospect can reach value in as few clicks as possible
We get excited by people who challenge the status quo but aren’t looking for someone to think differently for the sake of thinking different. You’ll have a natural ability to spot opportunities to improve on things and won’t be afraid to take risks and make bets.
You’ve got to be sharp. Comfortable with numbers and have experience of business software (like Hubspot). You need to be able to think and act independently and actively seek to take work off the plates of your colleagues, not add to it.
You are naturally curious and relentless in finding the answers you seek. While this is a role that requires operational proficiency, we’ve found in practice that people with this personality will be driven to acquire any skills needed to get to the truth.
We are also seeking:
- 0-2 years of sales experience
- Past success in a fast paced setting
- Analytical and Math skills
- High level of energy, motivation, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, commitment and professionalism
- Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines
We are a US based remote-first company. You can work anywhere you want in the US as long as your working hours maintain a 3 hour overlap with the US eastern time-zone.
